The Chairman
Atharv Singh, born 3 March 2005, is the Founding Chairman of The Emissary. Currently 18, he graduated high school from India’s prestigious Mayo College in 2023. Atharv’s interests lie in global affairs, politics, history, geo-economy & strategy. He is a passionate student of Astronomy & Paleontology. Atharv is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at the esteemed Sciences Po University, Asia-Pacific Campus, in Le Havre France.

“I was 12 or 13 maybe when I realised the exigency of Climate Action. However, till three years back I just didn’t know that how would I matter in combating climate change. Not knowing where it would lead, we (Atharv, Keertidev & Vidarth) initiated The Emissary, all we had was a vision & faith – turns out these two can do miracles. Today, three years later, after engaging with environment ministers and various leaders in different national governments on myriad issues – I know, I am making a difference. And we strive to make teens around the world realise the same – their actions matter, they can make a global difference.”

The Emissary is a creation of high school students, therefore, aspirations, vision, willingness and dynamic energy were innate for us.
The Emissary was born out of the desire of three grade 11 boarding school students – disturbed by global developments, they sought a medium to change the world for better – they created that medium, they are our founders.
